A Pakistani court restricted the non-bailable arrest warrant against former President Pervez Musharraf. The non-bailable arrest warrant issued against the former military dictator in connection with the 2007 military siege of the Lal Masjid in which cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi was killed, was challenged by Musharraf’s lawyer in the Islamabad High Court. The high court quashed the lower court order and pronounced that the 71-year-old General (Retired) would appear in person April 27 date of hearing.
